Suburban Construction & Management, Inc is a Kentucky Corporation, originally chartered as Suburban Homes Inc in 1978. The original organizer and still the majority stockholder is George R. Miller, who remains President and CEO of the company.

Our corporate office is maintained at 146 Frank E. Simon Ave. in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

Our employees, associates and sub-contractors have been involved in the planning, design and actual construction of numerous custom homes, as well as patio homes and condominiums.

While President of Suburban Construction, Mr. Miller has organized and formed various other partnerships, corporations and other limited liability companies while continuing to manage several residential apartment complexes in and around the Shepherdsville/ Louisville areas.

Suburban Construction and her sister companies also own and manage self-storage facilities as well as industrial warehouse space. In the future, one of these companies will offer warehouse space with access to rail siding.

With a high Dunn and Bradstreet rating and more than adequate source of capital due to its good relationship with several major banks, Suburban Construction is continuously locating and acquiring raw land. After market research and feasibility studies are made, this land is either held in reserve or developed into its highest and best use, some of which include single family housing, high density residential for sale to owner occupancy or rental, commercial retail – up to and including heavy industrial to serve clients such as UPS / FED EX.

Suburban Construction has talented personnel and associates with the capability to plan, design, secure financing and build from start to finish projects up to $12,000,000. In the future, Suburban Construction plans to have in-house legal and engineering departments.

One new area of the home building market that Suburban Construction is currently specializing in is the construction of specially designed homes for the physically challenged.

Suburban Construction has been a member in good standing with the Louisville Home Builders Association since around 1980, as well as a supporter of numerous civic and charitable organizations.

Suburban Construction has weathered economic times – good and bad. It has shown steady consistent growth throughout its history.
