Iona Frances Douglas Snow, age 85 of Westmoreland, passed
away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee.
She was born
March 3, 1926 to the late Verna N. Douglas and Velva Taylor Douglas in Adolphus, Kentucky. She was a retired housekeeper
for the Allen County War Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of James B. Snow
She is survived by one son, James
Randall Snow of Westmoreland; a daughter, Sandra Snow Milliken of Gallatin; brother, Joe I. Douglas and wife Marion of Sarasota,
Florida; sister, Myrtle Douglas Gass of Sarasota, FL; grandson, Jason Milliken and wife Dawn of Savannah, GA; granddaughter,
Jamie Snow Johnson of Franklin, KY; and great-grandchildren, Halie, Lilly, Tyler, and Tori; and her beloved church family.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive United Methodist
Church in Westmoreland, TN with Rev. Johnny Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call between 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville, and after 12 Noon
on Friday at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Westmoreland, TN.
