Wilma Jean Branstetter Burgess

Wilma Jean Branstetter Burgess, age 67, of Gamaliel, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Tompkinsville.

She was born in Monroe County, KY on August 4, 1944 to the late William Edward Branstetter and Ila Christine Williams Branstetter. She was a retired factory worker for KY Apparel and a member of Gamaliel Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on December 19, 1969 to Reid Burgess.

She is survived by her husband: Reid Burges and one daughter: Donna Burgess both of Gamaliel, two sisters: Brenda Sue Pruitt of Hanson, KY and Carol Faye Francis of Cullman, AL.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Saturday at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel

Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Church of Christ
