Susan N. Winter Gore

Susan N. Winter Gore, age 61 passed away on Wednesday,
August 10, 2011 after a courageous five year battle with cancer.
The Indianapolis native was the daughter of the
late Harvey E. Winter and Mary E. Hinton Winter of Scottsville, Kentucky.
She was employed for 25 years at Commonwealth
Health Corporation where she met many caring friends while working as a nurse’s aide and finance clerk.
She
is survived by her son Christopher Davis of Bowling Green; her sister Ruth Clay of Indianapolis, Indiana; two nieces, Diana
Gantz and Elizabeth Vandergrift; one aunt and uncle, several cousins, two great nieces and two great nephews.
Susan
was a mother figure to many others not actually related, except by love. She also leaves behind many close friends she
loved and cared for deeply.
Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at
the Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill General
Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14 after 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of your choice.
