Jesse Darrell Reagan, age 63, of Glasgow, formerly of
Monroe County, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home.
He was born January 25, 1948 in Monroe County,
KY to Ruth Cropper Reagan and the late Leonard Reagan. He was a retired Bradley Fighting Vehicle Mechanic for the US Army.
He was a lifetime member of DAV Chapter 20. He was the widower of Victoria Donaldson Reagan who died May 3, 1995.
He is survived by his mother Ruth Cropper Reagan of Gamaliel, one daughter and son-in-law: Lacey and James Harper
of Glasgow, four brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald and Neva Lou Reagan of Tompkinsville, Dennis and Charlotte Reagan of
Sevierville, TN, Kenny and Jessie Lynn Reagan of Scottsville, KY, Jerry and Dee Dee Reagan of Oneida, TN, two sisters
and brothers-in-law: Lisa and Bill Phalen of Cave City, KY, Betty and Floyd Rittenberry of Westmoreland, TN,
one grandson: James Thomas Harper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father he was preceded
in death by a brother J.T. Reagan.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM at
Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery with military rites performed at graveside by
DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow.
Friends may call after 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.
Memorials are suggested to the James Thomas Harper trust fund.
