Danny Leon Walker, age 52, of Tompkinsville, passed away
Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home.
He was born March 11, 1959 in Monroe County, KY to the late Eugene Walker
and Wilma Marie Turner Walker. He was a lumber loader and driver for Clark Lumber Co., a member of Mt. Gilead Church
of Christ and former member of Tompkinsville National Guard. He was united in marriage on December 9, 1976 to Rita Young.
He is survived by his wife: Rita Young Walker, one son: Dusty Lee Walker both of Tompkinsville, three brothers:
Charles Walker of Glasgow, Bobby Walker of Tompkinsville, Robert Walker of Albany, KY, three sisters: Dorothy Gilreath
of Tompkinsville, Ramona Sue Halloran of Cave City, KY and Vanessa Dickson of Lafayette, TN.
In addition to his
parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Rondal Walker and two sisters: Norma Dean Owens and Leona Gayle Long.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 28 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with
burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5:00 PM on Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home in
Tompkinsville
