Elizabeth Virginia “Babe” Wheat Page, age 84, of Red Boiling Springs formerly ofTompkinsville, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at The Palace Health Care in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

She was born November 6, 1927 in Monroe County, KY to the late Leonard J. Wheat and Sallie Nicklas Wheat.  She was a retired employee of Monroe County Department of Human Resources and a member of Flippin and Mudlick West Church of Christ.  She was the widow of G. C. “Red” Page.

She is survived by one daughter: Linda Page of Summer Shade, KY, three sons and two daughters-in-law: Kelly & Darlene Page of Ft. Run, KY, Danny Page of Unionville, TN, Jersey Joe & Betty Page of Tompkinsville, KY and one brother: Roy Wheat of Glasgow, KY, 11 Grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son: Gary Page, three brothers: Kelly, Floyd and Doris Wheat and two sisters: Nelda Isenberg and Neva Ree Thomas.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Mudlick Cemetery.

Visitation after 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 8 at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville

Memorials are suggested to the Mudlick Cemetery
