Vernon E. Tabor Jr., age 54 of Scottsville, passed away
on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky.
He was born on February 27, 1957
to Vernon Tabor Sr. and June Renick Tabor, who survive. Mr. Tabor was a farmer and a member of the Graham Lodge #208
F.&A.M. in Scottsville.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, J.C. Berry.
In addition
to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gail Berry Tabor of Scottsville; son, Brad Tabor and his wife Lori
of Scottsville; daughter, Michelle Pruitt and her husband Rob Jr. of Scottsville; grandchildren, Kylie Pruitt, Macy Pruitt,
and Drake Tabor all of Scottsville; sisters, Karen Horton of Scottsville, Sharon Cheek and her husband Steve of Scottsville;
mother-in-law, Genetta Berry of Scottsville; sister-in-law, Peggy Blankenship and her husband Joey of Scottsville; and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
A Masonic Service will be conducted on Monday evening, October 24, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. from the chapel of Strode Funeral
Home in Scottsville by the Graham Lodge #208 F. & A.M.
Friends may call after 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October
24, 2011 and on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 after 7:00 A.M.
