Peggy L. Woods Cardwell

Peggy L. Woods Cardwell, age 72 of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

She was born in Warren County, Kentucky on March 31, 1939 to the late Willie D. Woods and Jeanetta Frances Kirby. She retired from DESA International Inc. in Bowling Green.  

She is survived by sons, Tim Pulliam and wife Stacey of Bowling Green, Joe Pulliam of LaGrange, KY; daughter, Teresa Pulliam Hancock and husband David of Scottsville;  brothers, Frederick Woods and wife Anna of Bowling Green, Bill Woods and wife Betty of Lawrenceburg, IN; sister, Jane Parker of Greensburg, KY; grandchildren, Dean Pulliam and wife Alex of Bowling Green, Vewin Pulliam and wife Jackie of Bowling Green, Landon Pulliam of Bowling Green, Brandon Dalton of Scottsville, Seth Pulliam of Cape Girardeau, MD, Nikki  and Heather Pruitt both of Bowling Green, Jonathon Hancock and wife Tammy of White House, TN, and Justin Hancock of Portland TN; Great-Grandchildren, Jonathon Pulliam of Bowling Green, Laila and Joslyn Coleman both of Bowling Green, Isaac Barnett of Bowling Green and Makelia Dalton of Scottsville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Ryan Keith Pulliam.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 1:30 P.M. at the Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with Bro. Donnie Lawrence officiating.  Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Warren County, KY. Pallbearers will be Dean Pulliam, Vewin Pulliam, Brandon Dalton, Jimmy Dean, Brian Spain, Ralph Galloway and Honorary Pallbearer Randy Johnson.  

Friends may call after 9:00 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville.
